How to enable bluetooth on JBL column

Almost everyone listens to music. She plays an important role in creating the right mood. For good and high-quality sound, various technological devices are designed. One of them includes speakers, which are natural amplifiers of sound transmitted through a smartphone or computer.

Among many firms, the manufacturer JBL has gained popularity. Their products have the best characteristics and excellent value for money. We will talk about modern versions of the model and how to connect it in our article.

Thanks to the ease of connection, the Bluetooth system is used in many devices. Its use greatly facilitates the process of recognition, pairing and collaboration of technology. Speakers also have the ability to connect via bluetooth. Run it quite easily, regardless of the model of smartphone. Just follow these steps step by step:

1. Put the equipment at close range.
2. Turn on the power and Bluetooth using the appropriate buttons on the panel (until a distinctive light and sound signal appears).
3. After that, go to your phone’s menu and select the Bluetooth system settings item.
4. Start the device search, after a few minutes you will be offered a list of found ones.
5. Select the required device from the list and connect to it.
6. After that, the sound should be broadcast through the speaker. If this does not happen, it is worth repeating the steps. If there is no signal, system damage may occur.

IMPORTANT! Save the column in the phone’s memory so that when reconnecting, the process of detection and connection will happen automatically.

Often, the column needs to be connected not to the phone, but to the computer or laptop. This may be necessary, for example, to watch a movie or show presentations on a wide screen. In this case, depending on the operating system, there will be its own algorithm of actions in the connection. We will tell you more about each of them.

With windows

When using Windows, the connection algorithm will consist of the following steps:

1. As with connecting to the phone, we carry out the first points. We include devices in a network, we place them nearby for fast detection.
2. After that, we press the Start menu using the keyboard or by clicking on the desktop.
3. Next, go to the "Parameters" line.
4. In the top line we find the line "Devices" and click on it. A list should open.
5. In the proposed window, select the item with the name Bluetooth. Activate it by moving the slider to the right.
6. After you activate the system, you need to search for available devices and synchronize with them. To do this, select the item for adding a new device in the upper part of the open window.
7. If the laptop sees your column, then it should be highlighted among the items in the proposed list for connection.
8. Now just select the JBL Charge and click on pairing.
9. Devices must interact. Now you can listen to music in excellent quality.

ATTENTION! If you previously connected another device, you must first disable its synchronization with the laptop to pair other equipment.

Mac OS X

For those users who prefer Apple products, it is also possible to listen to audio through the speaker system. The connection mechanism is practically no different from the previously described method, but minor changes may still be present. For convenience, we recommend using the instructions:

1. Turn on the equipment and place it as close as possible.
2. Go to the Bluetooth settings menu in any way possible.
3. Activate it by clicking the mouse button.
4. After that, the process of detecting equipment located next to the laptop will go on.
5. From the list that appears, select the item you are interested in and click on pairing.
6. Once connected, the column can do the work.

For the first inclusion, you need to keep both devices at a distance of no more than 1 m from each other for quick and accurate synchronization.
